Former Graduate Student
My research focuses on mantle dynamics and its manifestations in surface processes. Specifically, I use theory and numerical modelling to understand and predict the impact of mantle flow on topography and sea-level change. My work demonstrates that including mantle processes can dramatically alter the dynamics of regional and global climate systems. I grew up in the seaside town of Scarborough, UK, and studied Geophysics at University of Liverpool as a first generation student. Following my study abroad experience in Montreal, Canada, I decided to move to the US for grad school. Between research, I teach introductory level undergraduate classes, and serve on our departments Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee. When not in the office, you can likely find me baking, hiking or snowboarding.
