I study ice sheet and solid Earth interactions. In particular, I investigate the effects of 3D Earth structure in Antarctica on sea level, geodetic observations, and inferences of local solid Earth properties. I developed my passion for Antarctica and Earth Sciences via undergraduate research; using datasets collected during my Antarctic fieldwork I worked to expand our understanding of the ice sheet and its subglacial conditions. As a community, I believe the science we undertake is necessarily tied to the human condition. I advocate for lasting policy impact as a member of the Harvard Science Policy Group, most recently as one of ~100 Earth scientists who lobbied Congress during the 2019 Geosciences Congressional Visit Day. A native Austinite, I double majored in physics & liberal arts at the University of Texas at Austin. During my down time, one might find me practicing Kung Fu, rock climbing, and watching delightfully terrible movies. Please visit my website for more information.
