I am a graduate student studying the formation of the solar system and planetary evolution. My research goal is to understand the mechanisms which cause potassium (K) isotope fractionation in different solar system materials. My recent high-precision measurements suggest that K isotope variations in meteorites have a nucleosynthetic origin, implying that isotope anomalies are inherited from a heterogeneous pre-solar molecular cloud. I grew up in Taiwan, and studied plate tectonics at National Taiwan University. After years of geology field work, I moved to the U.S. for grad school and to start lab work in a clean lab. I am also a dancer, and have performed at dance festivals in over 15 countries. When I am not in the lab or the theater, you can find me participating in badminton tournaments.
